Marisol has endlessly worked to rise above the challenges that she encountered in life. As a survivor of domestic violence, nearly losing her life, and given a second chance to live, she knew that her life had great meaning , especially breaking the cycle of violence and protecting her children. She dedicated her life to raising her two daughters on her own and completed her college education she desired to be an educator. A lifelong journey of a dream that would build her strength every day. Marisol graduated from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and UTSA with a Bachelor and a Masters degree in education with over twenty years working with children , families and communities.
Marisol volunteers to help women and children who have suffered in the hands of violence. She devotes her time to helping communities with studies in education, tutoring, reading, leadership programs and is certified as a parenting educator as an advocate to helping families stay united. She is a trailblazer, a devoted mother, a survivor of domestic violence, and an outstanding teacher.
